Amazing Grace

This has been a week of tragedy as well as great triumph ... of sadness mingled with joy and most of all, a week that has displayed God's amazing grace!

As I understand, the dear family who have suffered such a tragic loss have felt the love and strength of God in the moments of their days ... and that is after all, exactly what He has promised ~ strength for the day, not days in advance ... and He has proven this over and over again during this past week.

Over 150 dear saints of God have visited them in their home and prayed with them and helped in any way they could. Their unsaved neighbours in their apartment complex are witnessing the love and mercy and grace of God in action and as we all know, actions speak louder than words!

As some have commented -- a tragedy such as this always leaves unanswered questions for those left behind -- my understanding is that these dear ones want to concentrate on the glory that is the Lord's in the midst of all these happenings . . .

The prayer from the hearts of those whose lives were touched by this dear young man is that all would be drawn closer to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and be more yielded, for His glory, that lost souls might be awakened to their own need of Him for eternity.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

My thanks once again to each one of you who has lifted up in prayer, this family as well as my daughter ~ your care and compassion on their behalf is a testimony of the love of our Lord which has been shed abroad in our hearts.

Blessings,

What a blessing to read of the wonderful support and love shown. Surely those that are lost will see the work of GOD in the hearts of those who know Him.

Thank you for the update Dallas.

Still praying!
