This little dish has very special meaning for me because it was made by my daughter in memory of a funny moment we shared.Both of us were sitting, waiting to be called to receive flu shots. With us was my daughter's best friend and one of my sisters-in-law.
My daughter was fortunate enough to have her Number called first and she turned toward me, smiled and said, "Peace out Mom!"
Well, a couple of minutes later my Number was called and I turned to her, grinned and said, "Peace out Rachel."
My daughter and her friend burst out laughing!! I guess my repeating to her what she called out to me was extra funny because as an 'older person', it was unexpected :o)
She just phoned me and at the end of our conversation, in memory of that special moment, she cheerily said, "Peace out Mom!" once again :o)
