Far and Away

Here's a photo of my almost 19 year old daughter at age 3! She only graduated from high school last year so her moving far away was not something we were expecting so soon :o(

But, after visiting her brother, sister-in-law and little nephew for 5 weeks the summer before, she talked of nothing except how excited she was to move across the country and get a job.

So, at the end of last summer after she had worked full time, she packed up most of her stuff and flew across the country to her new town! At least she has her brother and family as well as her grandmother [my mom] living not too far away.

She got a job right away and loves the city! But, more importantly, she fellowships with a group of Christians of like-mind where she has made dozens of friends and receives much support and encouragement in her walk for the Lord ~ for this, her father and I are truly thankful :o)
